What works where: phone, computer, browser
Lead Manager runs on your phone and in a browser on your computer. A few things behave differently on each, and this is the list.
Most of Lead Manager is the same wherever you open it: the same leads, the same categories, the same notes. A handful of things depend on what you are holding.
| What | On a phone | On a computer |
|---|---|---|
| Move a lead between category columns | Use Assign Category from the lead’s menu. | Drag the card from one column to the next. |
| Call or text from the list | Swipe the row right to call, left to text. | Use the lead’s menu: Call, Text. |
| A call | Opens your phone’s dialer with the number in it. | Hands the number to whatever your computer uses for calls, if anything. Otherwise the number is on the lead’s page to dial yourself. |
| A text you write yourself | Opens your phone’s own messaging app. | Same idea, if something on the computer handles texts. Most people do this one on their phone. |
| An email | Written in Lead Manager and sent from your own mailbox. | The same, with more room to write. |
| Reminders | Arrive as notifications, even when the app is closed. | Arrive while the tab is open, so leave it open. |
| A photo for a screenshot import | From your photos, or straight from the camera. | Choose a file. |
| An invite link | Copy it and send it however you like. | Copy it and send it however you like. |
