Sort your leads with lists and categories
Lead Manager gives you three lists and as many categories as you want to name, so a busy list turns into a board you can read at a glance.
Lead Manager on a computer. The menu opens on the three lead lists, categories are switched on, the layout chooser offers columns or one stacked list, and a lead is dragged from the Uncontacted column into Contacted and then moved to Sold from its own menu.

Steps
Know your three lists
Open the menu. Leads holds everything new, Active Leads the ones you are working on now, and Archived Leads the ones you are done with. A lead you add lands in Leads.
Turn categories on
Tap Categories in the toolbar. On a phone the same switch is Show Categories, behind the three dots.
Choose the layout
Press and hold Categories, or use the three dots on a phone. Vertical Slices gives each category its own column; Horizontal Categories stacks them in one list you can collapse.
Drag a lead into another column
On a computer, pick a lead up and drop it in the column you want. The counts in both headers change with it.
Or move it from its own menu
Tap the lead’s three dots, choose Assign Category, and pick one. This works everywhere, phone included.
Good to know
| What | On a phone | On a computer |
|---|---|---|
| Moving a lead between categories | Use Assign Category from the lead’s three dots. | Drag the lead into another column, or use Assign Category. |
| The layout you get | Categories start as Horizontal Categories — one list with a heading for each. | Categories start as Vertical Slices — a column for each. |
| Swiping a lead to call or text | Works in the plain list. It is switched off while categories are on, so a swipe scrolls instead. | Use the lead’s three dots. |

The dot at the front of every lead says how long it has been since you touched that lead — blue for the last one, then green, yellow and red as it ages.
