Keep your jobs on the task board
The work around a deal — a safety, a set of plates, a bank you are waiting on — as cards you move across three columns, each one tied to its lead.
A phone showing Lead Manager. The app menu opens the task board, Add card opens a form, a card is given a title, a due date and a lead, and then dragged from To Do into In Progress before the board is switched to the organization one.

A lead is a person. A card is a job. The task board is where the jobs live, so nothing waits on somebody remembering it.
Steps
Open the task board
Tap the menu button at the top left, then Kanban.
Add a card
Tap Add card under the cards in a column. Give it a Title — that is the only thing it needs.
Give it a date and a lead
Tap Due date and pick a day. Tap Link leads and choose who it is for. Then tap Create.
Move it along
Press and hold the card and drag it into the next column. Or open it and tap Move, which asks which column to put it in.
Work the store’s board instead
On the Team plan the toggle at the top switches from Personal to Organization: the same board, shared with everyone, where a card can be handed to somebody with Assign to.
Good to know
- A card carries a Title, a Description (optional), the leads you linked and a Due date.
- The due date sits at the bottom of the card and turns red once it is past.
- Tapping a linked lead on a card opens that lead’s page.
- On the store’s board a card also takes linked vehicles and the people it is assigned to, whose initials show in the bottom corner.
Related guides
- Put a callback in the calendar
Book the call you promised, the appointment somebody is coming in for, or a reminder to yourself — against the lead it belongs to, so it is there when the day comes.
- The lead’s page, and writing a note
Open a lead to see everything you know about them in one place, and leave a note so the next person — including you next week — knows where the deal stands.
- Sort your leads with lists and categories
Lead Manager gives you three lists and as many categories as you want to name, so a busy list turns into a board you can read at a glance.
